Research On Affirming Historic Buildings In Zhengding Old Town

Historic buildings is valuable cultural heritage. They are also the landscape elements of ancient city, as well as cultural relics are the essence of historical and cultural city. With the speeding up of urbanization process, the protection of historic buildings is faced with huge impact and challenges, and the importance for historic building protection is growing.Researching and affirming historic buildings is the basis of the city landscape’s protection work. At present, how to affirm historic buildings scientifically and reasonably, and how to solve the great contradiction which is between protection of historic buildings and development of economic, becomes a important issue that city, especially the historical and cultural city faced in protection and development.This paper takes Zhengding old town as the recearch object.On the basis of deeply investigation and the laws or related policy, quantitative evaluation on key researched buildings, determine the list of historic buildings and specific protection countermeasures.This paper is divided into six main parts:The first part, the background, significance, content and method of researching, the development course of architectural heritage’s protection and protection system of architectural heritage at home and abroad;The second part, the historical evolution of the ancient city of Zhengding old town, the key point of city planning and historic relic;The third part, based on the comprehensive research of the ancient city of Zhengding, make roof situation analysis and typical construction value characteristic analysis on the key researched building constructions;The fourth part, referencing more experience, combined with local practice, formulated Zhengding’s conditions and index system for affirming historic buildings, making quantitative evaluation for the key researched buildings, using SPSS statistical software to classify reasonably, combining the quantitative and qualitative, ultimately determine the program of affirming historic buildings;The fifth part, drawing up historic buildings’ protection countermeasure, and giving Zhengding’s historic buildings concrete suggestions of protection work.
