The ultrasonic motor is different from the traditional electromagnetic motor, it takes advantage of the inverse piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric materials and doesn’t need intermediary, rotor has linear or rotary motion which can be driven directly by friction dynamic. Because of its special work principle, so it has features, for example, small electromagnetic interference, sensitive start-stop, small volume and easy to control, etc. In recent decades, a large number of domestic and foreign researchers committed to the research of this kind of motor, and achieved fruitful results, it has been widely used in small power drive, precision instruments, aerospace and other fields.The main research contents of the article as follows:(1) A cylindrical bar type ultrasonic motor is studied, the motor is driven by two foot and the amplitude, the two drivers foot respectively in the two free end of the bar type oscillator, the effect of the amplitude is magnified drive the amplitude of the foot. under the two orthogonal bending modal composite drive form elliptic motion of particles on foot, in driving and applying the pre-tightening force oscillator, the driven foot can move along a straight line.(2) For the dynamic design of motor stator, and get several main design parameters: drive foot length, length of the amplitude, the length of base side, support thickness; According to the oscillator design requirements, the oscillator final size is determined. The harmonic response analysis and transient dynamic have been analysed based on stator end dimension build finite element model of the vibrator, and verifies the correctness of the theory of oscillator design through the two simulation.(3) According to the results of the finite element analysis, the oscillator and motor other structures has carried on the processing, has a detailed description to the problems in the processing and assembly, the oscillator multiple performance was tested by Structuring experimental platform, in the end, the performance of the one foot on the motor driver was tested, it is concluded that the slider to speed is up to 189 mm/s, 181 mm/s.
