Along with the social econom y rapid developm ent, the rapid speeding of urbanization, urban traffic problem has gradually become the main contradiction of social life. Scientific researches show that the development of public transportation is the key to ease traf fic pressure. At the sam e time, the develop ment of public transportation can effectively reduce the urban traffic pollution in the environment. As an important part of urban public transpor tation, the regular public transportation has become the m ain target to optimize. However, to optimize the bus capacity h as become more outstanding problem. Based on the conventional pub lic transportation, this paper mainly researches the conf iguration of transport capacity structure and capacity allocation problems.Configuration of city conventional publ ic traffic capacity structure is a comprehensive research problem. As we al l know, the regular public transportation has the characteristics of public welfare, its main subject is to meet the travel needs of urban residents. At the sam e time, the bus enterprises is for half public welfare. The research needs to balance the interests of the public trans portation enterprises. Bus capacity structure configuration problem needs to consider the influence of various factors, so this paper bases on the real bu s operation, then build Capacity structure configuration model, to ensure the estab lished model scientific and reasonable and practical.First clear the res earch object of this paper, then introdu ce the bus vehicle classification standards and related technical characteristics, analyze the advantages and applicable conditions of different type vehicles. According to the main factors that influence the selection of bus vehicles, determine the selection method of bus vehicles. Read and study the relevant l iteratures, summarize the m ain influencing factors of public transport capacity structu re configuration. Respectively analyze the m acro policy, city characteristics, bus lines Characteristics, bus passenger flows, bus operation characteristics and transit vehicl e emissions five aspects of i mpact, and ascertain their calculation formulas and models.According to the actu al bus line vehicles parking rules, all line vehicles parked way can be divided into two categories by parking rules: bus line stops operating field alone, many bus lines share the sam e operating field. For the both cases, this paper will research the allocation m ethods respectively. When single line operates, th e passenger flow throughout the day of the bus line shows dif ferent characteristics, different period of time is suitable for various models combinations. When many bus lines share the yard, the vehicles b etween lines can m ake unified management, and passenger flows throughout the day present di fferent characteristics. So the m odel structure and vehi cle size configuration can com plement each other. Before establishing the models, firstly analyze two main interest parts in the bus system: the bus companies and bus passengers. Determ ine the m inimum cost as the plann ing objective. Time-match methods are used in this paper. To ensure the service level of the bus lines and vehicle operation based on low e mission, determine the constraint conditions. Determine the configuration of the bus capacity structure based on the bus fields. Respectively set up the s ingle line capacity structure configuration m odel and multiline capacity structure configuration model, and apply the genetic algorithm, then solve the problem through the Matlab programming.This paper is as the Jili n City for background to analyze practical exam ples. Through the related researches, process date s based on the city and bus lines, apply the single line capacity structure configuration model and multiline capacity structure configuration model to solve th e capacity structure configuration scheme based on fileds. Through the comparison and analysis, capacity structure configurations have been optimized, verified the reliability and practicability of the models.
