Design And Implementation Of The Vehicle Gateway Based On CAN Bus And 4G

With the automotive electronics and intelligent transport-related technologies development and the rapid increase of automobile internal electronic equipment in recent years.The traditional mode of one-to-one communication mode for each electronic equipment in vehicle network can not meet current customer functional requirements of high comfort and high security, so the on-board network system arised at the historic moment. In order to achieve the vehicle traffic information and automotive electronics equipment state information sharing between vehicle network and internet service terminal, establish a connection between the vehicle network and internet terminals will become the urgent matter. The extraction of on-board network data with external equipment access way, this paper designs and implements a vehicle gateway based on CAN bus and 4G, realized the data sharing between vehicle networking and automobile service center.The CAN bus technology is most widely used in vehicle network system, the gateway in this paper used 4G communication technology to ensure the stability of gateway data transmission process and the transmission rate.The main research work is as follows:(1) The gateway using Freescale i.MX283 industrial-grade processor build hardware platform, then beginning the minimum hardware system circuit and peripheral circuit design work.After that, On the basis of the Linux kernel build gateway software development platform, then beginning the implementation of the gateway software system.(2) For the convenience of real-time management to the gateway, put forward remote control scheme based on email protocol(SMTP, POP3) and short message service(SMS).Finally, through simulation of vehicle CAN bus network environment, complete the gateway function test and analyzes.As the intersection between automobile electronic technology and internet applications, in order to promote the integration of automotive network and internet, the vehicle-gateway is the key to realize the seamless connection of cars and the internet terminal device.Therefore, the research in the field of vehicle gateway for the development of intelligent transportation has important practical significance.
