| In recent years, with the development of social economy and the improvement of people’s living standards, the suitability and complex functions of the community has gradually become the focus of people’s habitat selection. However, the traditional forms of community planning in our country can’t meet the new requirement at present stage of urban development as well as people’s growing material and spiritual needs. At present, city constructions abroad have a lot of successful practice cases applied livable theory which has formed a mature theoretical system. Their new idea and new pattern of livable community planning have a great significance to our community construction.Singapore neighborhood center pattern is one of the re-innovation to the community planning development. It combines live, work, shopping, leisure and entertainment as a whole, emphasizing the neighborhood relationship, so that the residents can not only get the convenient services and enjoyment in the modern living conditions, but also improve communication between people at the same time, forming a traditional close-knit neighborhood relation. Applied the Singapore neighborhood center pattern to the planning and construction of livable community, this article fully embodies the people-oriented concept which penetrates into all aspects of the planning and design, emphasizes the complex functions of community, advocates green travel way, focuses on humanistic care and neighborhood communication and then creates the community atmosphere with uniqueness and sense of belonging.Research is divided into five major parts as follows:the first chapter:mainly contains the research’s background, purpose and significance to determine the contents and ideas of it. The second chapter:through the theoretical research on livable communities, and the analysis of the origin, characteristics, principles, structural pattern and other aspects of Singapore neighborhood center, combined with the success cases of community planning in domestic and overseas -- the Alys Beach in Florida and Suzhou industrial park, the chapter sums up the application of experience and conditions to our community planning with livable theory and neighborhood center pattern. The third chapter:it focuses on the introduction of neighborhood center pattern into livable community planning, combined with the function and suitability point of view, and studies on whether the neighborhood center pattern meets the starting point and planning principles of livable community, further proposes the planning and design recommendations of our livable community through neighborhood center pattern. The forth chapter:taking Nanyu new town in Fuzhou as practice case, this chapter mainly contains the planning and design in the methods and strategies of neighborhood center pattern used in livable community, focused on space form and layout, road traffic system, non-motorized system, layout and structural pattern of neighborhood center pattern, fully embodies the core concept of livable community. The fifth chapter:through the theoretical analysis and case practice, applies theory to practice, and proves the design strategies explored of livable community, so as to further improve the theory, and provide certain theoretical guidance to the development and construction of livable community. At the same time, it sums up the main conclusions of four aspects of the neighborhood center pattern used in our livable community planning and design, namely, focusing on the sharing and harmony of ecological, emphasizing comprehensive community functions, strengthening the connection of transportation and service facilities, and intensifying community cultural properties.Through the application research on livable communities planning in Singapore neighborhood center pattern, people can have a further understanding on the "livable environment", so as to promote the development of livable communities and construction of livable cities. At the same time, the author puts forward a new vision and thinking direction which provides a theoretical and practical support for the future to explore the green, ecological, scientific, humane and livable communities planning pattern. |
