Planning And Design Of The Country Park Based On The Use Of Coastal Wetland Resource

Coastal wetland is one of the most significant wetland resources among the coastal areas in China, and it plays an important role in protecting the environment and biodiversity in these places. However, since the early 20th century, a large proportion of the wetland has been badly damaged and in danger of extinction due to the rapid economic development of these areas. Country park, as a park genre which develops at a fast speed recently, could satisfy the need of environment protection, and provide public esplanades in the meantime. Therefore, the country park will be of great value in the preservation and presentation of coastal wetland.There is still a large vacancy in the study of the usage of coastal wetland in the country park at the moment. This article will start from the usage of the coastal wetland resources, summarize relevant concepts and theories, and discuss the design thoughts and methods of the usage of coastal wetland in the country park. Literature research, case study, and multidisciplinary analysis will be used in this process. Furthermore, the design thoughts and methods will be applied to the planning and design of the country park in the east of Huanghua New Town. By doing so, we would be able to combine theory and practice, and complete the theory system of the country park design. This will be of important value in the preservation and use of the coastal wetland resources, as well as the design and construction of country park landscape.
