Study On Stop Schedule Plan Optimization Of Express/Local Train For Regional Rail Line

The development of urbanization makes traffic congestion problem more and more serious which contributes to the rapid development of urban rail transit. Regional rail line connecting the city center with satellite towns springs up with the rise of urban rail transit. Regional rail line is adaptive to adopt express/local train operation mode because it is characterized by long operation distance and imbalanced time-space distribution of passenger flow,etc. This kind of operation mode is beneficial to reduce the traveling time of long-distance passengers and the operation cost of urban rail transit enterprise. As an important part of express/local train operation organization, train stop schedule plan plays an important role in express/local train operation efficiency of regional rail line. Therefore,for the purpose of improving the transportation capability and operation efficiency of regional urban rail line,this dissertation makes deeply study on stop schedule plan optimization of express/local train of regional rail line on the basis of analyzing the characteristics of regional rail line and passenger flow distribution features. This dissertation establishes related model and approaches of express /local train stop schedule plan of regional urban rail line based on research achievements of scholars from both at home and abroad and then conducts case analysis.Firstly,this dissertation analyzes some related and basic issues about train stop schedule systematically. Secondly,we carry out the qualitative and quantitative analysis on the influencing factors of stop schedule plan of express/local train. O n this basis,we devote ourselves to reducing passengers ’ traveling time and operation cost of urban rail transit enterprise. So this dissertation selects passengers’ traveling time and operation cost as operation objectives to establish the stop schedule plan multi-objective optimization model of express/local train and uses immune genetic algorithm as solution method for model. Finally,Shanghai Metro Line 16 is taken as an example to conduct case analysis for above operation model and solving algorithm. The specific contents of this dissertation are as follows:(1)We introduce the definition and types of train stop schedule plan and analyze some related issues about stop schedule plan of express/local train,including implementation conditions,advantages and disadvantages,setting principles and formulation steps,which provides theoretical foundation for optimization of stop schedule plan.(2)From perspective of passenger flow,station and train,influencing factors of Express/local train stop schedule plan are analyzed. Passenger flow factors contain time,section and OD passenger flow distribution features. Station factors include station operation load,station importance. Train factors refer to turnaround time of train and station dwell time of train. This analysis paves the way for optimization model in following context.(3)Considering both sides of passenger traveling time and enterprise operation cost,we establish stop schedule plan optimization model of express/local train and research the solution method for it.(4)Shanghai Metro Line 16 is taken as an example to conduct case analysis for above operation model and solving algorithm in order to validate the effectiveness and practicability of above optimization model and solving algorithm.
