As worldwide environmental and energy problem is becoming more and more serious, renewable energy has drawn widely attention and is developing rapidly, among which the wind energy is currently the world’s most large-scale commercial development potential of renewable energy, and wind power generation is currently the world’s fastest growing kind of renewable energy power generation technology. Wind energy has some inherent characteristics that differ from conventional energy resources, such as randomness, intermittency and anti-peak load regulation, which brings great challenges to power system economic dispatch problems. On one hand, wind power integration needs improvement. On the other hand, large-scale integration of wind power into the power system will produce great influence on the operating economy, thus brings new challenges the calculation and analysis of Available Transfer Capability of power system. Therefore, the establishment of optimization model of ATC for power system integrated large-scale wind power considering the comprehensive operating costs, on the premise of ensuring system security constraints of each operating point according to the economic dispatch model considering comprehensive operating costs of the system, thus further optimizing the allocation of generating resources of the system, and improving the efficiency of power network, realizing scientific coordination of power system operation security and economy. On the premise of ensuring safe operation of the power grid, as far as possible to increase the wind power admitting ability of power grid is now the focus of the problem, which has important theoretical significance and engineering application value.First, a wind-storage combined system model and its operating strategy are implemented to mitigate the output fluctuation and improve the wind power dispatchability. Then increase the total generating output to maximize total generating output capacity in generating area. Dispatch output of generator in generating area at each operating point with economic dispatch model considering comprehensive operating costs of the wind-storage combined system, so that the system runs in the optimal economic state with high wind power utilization rate. The simplified local index L of voltage stability is proposed to determine the critical state of the system from the view of considering static voltage stability. Thereby the available transfer capability of thesystem is effectively calculated.
