Government investment of city landscape greening beautify colorized engineering project is in rapid development period. The amount of government investment proportion is getting bigger. The engineering projects doubling grow every year. The public opinion attention is getting higher. Government investment of city landscape engineering projects, tend to be concentrated on short construction time limit for a project but later long maintenance time, which lead to very long project construction cycle, very difficult to do the project settlement and project takeover management, increase the project cost, very hard to manage the project funds. Not only that, in the process of the implementation it easily lead to project risk affected by the various factors like management, technology, policy, market, environment and so on, which affect the smooth implementation and the government investment benefit.During 2013-2015 it organized the Nanning city greening beautify colorized promotion engineering projects in Nanning city, which was one of the Nanning "China green city" improvement projects of a plan of the three years action. The project total investment estimate is about 4.9 billion yuan, including 92 subprojects. This research paper selected Mingzudadao and its extension segment, Chaoyang road segment, Qingshan road segment and so on seven sub project as the research object, which were undertaken by Nanning city greening engineering management department as agent construction owner. In this thesis I use the method of WBS decomposition structure to conduct a comprehensive risk identification at all stages of this engineering project life cycle, use the related theory of risk management to analysis and assess and determine the potential main risk factors of this project, and according to the main risk factors identified the corresponding specific risk management measures are put forward finally.During the process of research and analysis on the thesis, I combine the theory knowledge and the practice, and the conclusion of the thesis will provide the risk management practical reference value for Nanning city greening beautify colorized engineering projects’and the similar government investment of the city landscape greening engineering projects’smooth implementation. The conclusion of the thesis is conducive to improve this series of engineering projects and the similar engineering projects risk management level, to reduce risk, to improve the efficiency of the government investment.
