As one of the main transportation methods in China, high-speed railway plays an important role in promoting economic development and accelerating the pace of modernization in China. CTC system is the key of operation and dispatching in high-speed railway and is important in ensuring transportation safety, improving transport efficiency and enhancing the competitiveness of high-speed railway. This thesis simulates the CTC station subsystem based on this "Virtual Simulation Experiment System of High-speed Railway CTCS-3" project. The project composes of both software and hardware equipment, which shows working principles of CTCS-3 control system by building the scenarios of Beijing-Shanghai high-speed line. It serves as a good platform for CTCS-3 research.Firstly, the thesis summarizes the research history and present situation of scattered self-discipline system nationally and internationally, and briefly introduces the structure and function of CTCS-3. Then the study shows the general layout structure, communication process and functional module of CTC station subsystem. In combination with the practical situation of project, the thesis analyzes the functional requirements of the CTC station subsystem so that to design a CTC station subsystem which satisfies the demand of this project. The core of the thesis is to design and realize the CTC station system software which integrates train management terminal, self-discipline machine and interlocking simulator in Visual Studio, which is excels in UI design and easy to transplant. Based on the analysis of system demand, the software composes of interface display module, train route arrangement module, communication module, database module, and automatic train dispatching module functionally. The developer of this system mainly completed the following work:(1) Designing rail equipment widgets including station signal, switch, track circuit of railway signal, and applying these widgets to station interface design to realize station display function;(2) Designing Beijing South Railway Station, Ji’nan railway station, ShangHai HongQiao Railway Station’s planar graph to apply in this software;(3) Coding communication protocol so that CTC in station can receive the train route arrangement information from CTC center via Ethernet;(4) Establishing user database as well as information database so that the function of user management and history management can be achieved;(5) Designing route algorithm, which is both of safety and of stability, to achieve the system’s core functions, such as automatic route arrangement and automatic train dispatching, etc.In order to verifying the practicability of this system, the thesis finally introduces the software modules’function with examples, and explains the operation method of this software in detail. At the same time, the writer tested the software’s core function through white box testing to guarantee the quality of the system. Eventually it is demonstrated that the CTC station subsystem can accomplish its expected functional requirements with good demonstration effect and stability. Besides, it lays a stable foundation for further researching CTCS-3.
