The engine is the heart of the car and a power source, As connecting rod of engine parts is connected to the piston and the crankshaft to pass the motion and force components. Engine in the environment of high-speed operation, the rod need to maintain a high degree of cleanliness to prevent stains or mechanical impurities affect the overall health of the engine. Rod clean working surface is mainly reflected in through the hole, tank, bushings, and with the end face, as an important indicator of the rod quality assessment. Currently The cleaning of the connecting rod is divided into manual brushing, washing, immersion and other traditional cleaning methods in production.This research using high-pressure injection technology, high pressure washing, immersion, foam washing, leaching and other gas-liquid modular integrated cleaning to rod. According to the actual situation of production and the economic and environmental considerations, combined with the automatic control technology to develop a connecting rod cleaning machines is particularly prominent in connecting rod cleaning industry.At the same time, researching and analysis high pressure jet washing and drying process of kerosene cleaners, and eventually developed the connecting rod automatic washing machine, to meet the needs of production. The main works of this paper as follows:1、describing the purpose and significance of the research paper, researching and investigation connecting rod cleaning related areas of the status quo at home and abroad,and it has analyzed the practical significance of this research.2、Combined with an enterprise connecting rod cleaning process, based on connecting rod this general process of cleaning technology, Research high pressure water jet cleaning technology and drying technology, making analysis and comparison and determine, and cleaning solvent selection and characteristics of effective analysis and make recommendations, at the same time,controlling the automatic cleaning technology.3、According to the production needs and cleaning requirements, combined with connecting rod cleaning process, determining the design of the overall structure of the washing machine. Including:indicators and requirements of the design,the key components of many of the fixtures program design, by analyzing and comparing determine the final fixture design, complete connecting rod positioning and clamping. As well as the determination of the overall program of the cleaning crew.4、According to the cleaning process and overall design to complete the structural design of the cleaning equipment machine. Mainly comprising:hanging fixtures, racks, cleaning systems, drying systems, filtration systems, motion systems etc. According to the design requirements to select certain parts equipment.5、Through Install and run the debugger of the cleaning equipment to determine the operating parameters of the unit. Connecting rod cleaning test and cleanliness effective detection analysis.Conclusion:The work showed that developed the connecting rod cleaning machine, solution to the current connecting rod cleaning low degree of automation, unreasonable cleaning, cleaning efficiency low problem, breaking the limitations of a single cleaning. At the same time, proved to be relatively manual or semi-automatic cleaning efficiency is improved by more than 95%(not included loading and unloading), ensure that the connecting rod cleanliness by weight test method mg/6 sets (connecting rod), to meet the grade requirements of the corresponding connecting rod detection accuracy. Practice has proved that the cleaning process and cleaning device for high feasibility and effectiveness of the cleaning connecting rod, it is a huge breakthrough to the entire connecting rod cleaning industry for Improving economic efficiency. But there are also some shortcomings, such as the use of hydrocarbon cleaning agent etc, look forward to be more perfect in the future.
