Lightweight soil is a kind of new type of filling materials used in construction, which is different from the traditional preparation method of concrete. Lightweight soil preparation station process the special foaming agent into foam by physical means and mixed with water, cement and other additives, and finally get to meet the requirement of the construction of the building materials. The light weight, mechanical properties and thermal insulation, environmental protection and other aspects have shown superior to traditional building materials in the practical use of lightweight soil. These characteristics make the lightweight soil can solve the problems of traditional construction of road. But most of the traditional lightweight soil preparation equipment use manual adjustment, which makes the quality of the lightweight soil is unstable, it is difficult to meet the design and engineering requirements. Therefore, a set of control system which can accurately control the quality of the lightweight soil is urgently needed.This paper mainly studies the control system of lightweight soil preparation station. The whole control system includes two parts, manual control on the control panel and automatic control on the touch screen, and focus on the automatic control on the touch screen. The whole automatic control system takes PLC as the center of information processing, and connects the touch screen and the controlled object. In the system, the relevant data in the process of producing lightweight soil was detected by using pressure transducer and flow meter, and the detected data was converted into digital signal by AD conversion module.According to the relevant control requirement of the hardware, the FX2N series programmable logic controller is used as the main controller of the measurement and control system and equipped with Mitsubishi’s GS series of touch screen and AD converter module, minimizing compatibility issues that may arise. On software, use GX Works2, which is the Mitsubishi PLC dedicated programming software, to write the PLC control ladder diagram and use GT Designer3 to create a touch screen display. Combined with the touch screen and PLC controller depending on the GX Simulator2 and GT Simulator3, which is Mitsubishi’s simulation software, to realize co-simulation tests to ensure the feasibility of the program is running.
