With the development of economy and the expansion of urbanization, a number of cities have actively invested the construction of urban rail transit. CBTC (Communication Based Train Control System) is widely used in urban rail transit because of its advantage of realizing moving-block technology. As an important fail-safe system, interlocking system is responsible for the coordinating relations of signals, switches and routes, to ensure the safety of train operations.The urban rail transit applied CBTC carries out in different ways compared with traditional train control systems in tracking, location and signal aspects, etc. The logic functions of interlocking changes accordingly. Therefore, this thesis did further research on the demands and realization of interlocking logic, in order to meet the requirement of trains efficient and safe operation in urban rail transit under CBTC.In this thesis, interlocking functions are divided into different modules by controlled objects. Through the study of CBTC system and interlocking subsystem, the difference between CBTC mode and fallback mode and the characteristics of interlocking functions in both modes were analyzed. On this basis, the logic requirement of signal control module in CBTC system was proposed. The messages exchanged with other subsystems that need to be processed by interlocking logic were confirmed. And the interlocking requirements of specific functions of signal control logic were analyzed. Furthermore, the signal control logic was described by using Boolean logic. Besides, typical special function logic was designed and the logic of signal at clear and signal attribute were designed as well.Based on the design of signal control logic, interlocking data and data structure were analyzed, the searching methods for route information and related information were studied and route tables can be automatically generated. Finally, by processing the route table information and combined with the configuration files, interlocking logic of different structure of yard can be able to generate automatically.
