Study On The Variation Of Surrounding Soil Properties And Ground Settlement Induced By Shield Tunnel Construction

With the rapid development of urbanization around China, the development of urban underground space is particularly fast. Metro is one of the most significant factors on the urban underground space system. Meanwhile, Metro is completely in underground geological space and it is urgent for us to take measures to handle these unexpected problems. Uneven settlement deformation during the metro construction is a serious threat to the safety and operation of the metro project. In addition, too large and long-term settlement deformation of metro construction will also pose a great threat to the metro structure, which is greatly jeopardize the safety, durability and waterproof connectors. If the uneven settlement is especially serious, it will directly affect the slope and the smoothness of the subway tracks, and the operator’s comfort and safety of the metro.The main idea of the article is based on tests data of the construction of the shield soil subsidence,the soil resilience of the metro platform and freezing settlement construction method of tunnel,which are prepared for Wuxi Metro One Line construction. It is of great importance for us to take effect measures to realize these problems and take actions to handle these problems. Also, some advanced measures are proposed. Therefore, these good results can make reference to the metro projects or other underground projects in the future.To investigate the factors of soil subsidence during metro construction and these controlling methods. This article utilizes a theoretical analysis, testing exploration and the data comparison to tackle the problems above. Thus, the basal settlement affect of the soil characteristics during the shield tunneling, also the deposition on the substrate and the soil characteristics, even the settlement and the construction of a subway station is on the basis of characteristics of the soil. The freezing method construction of the underground tunnels settlement characteristics and effects of the surrounding soil and other related research.On the basis of some relative data, the article made use of the indoor and outdoor tests to analyze these current situation which is based on the surveying and monitoring data outdoor and make laboratory tests on the collected soil data. Thus, it can make the result more accurate and make contribution to the project.In accordance with some relevant state regulations and indicators for the metro construction, it plays a key role in the process of the settlement which provides a theoretical basis for the settlement issue. It is of great importance to the design and construction of Wuxi Metro One Line.
