Medical equipment has been moving into the era of digital and informatization as the development of science and technology. Factors such as the rapid economic development of China, the implementation of health care reform and aging problem, made the rapid development of the medical market in China in recent years, according to the survey, China as the second largest medical market in the world is just behind the United States at present, however the development of medical device industry in China is not optimistic, the development of medical equipment is based on the imitation of foreign technology, and less attention has been paid on user experience, and hemodialysis machine as a "artificial kidney" used in domestic hospitals is basically foreign brands. Although there are institutions do research on hemodialysis machine, the system is not stable, especially the hemodialysis machine interface does not meet the needs of users in terms of feasibility, effectiveness, safety, easy to learn which not only increases the user cognitive load and memory burden, but it is also very easy to cause the occurrence of false operation, risk of the patients’safety. The author hopes to make an effort to improve the development of hemodialysis machine in China. Therefore the author plans to design a new hemodialysis machine interface based on the study of the existing product and design theory.The author has made specific analysis and research in the following several aspects:first, analysis and research on the current situation of the domestic and foreign medical equipment, summarize the theory of interface design, and then put forward to the significance interface design of medical equipment; second, study of user experience and availability related theory based on literature research and user research, propose the importance of application user experience and availability related theory in medical equipment interface design; third, make a detailed analysis on the function of hemodialysis machine interface, user characteristics and usage scenarios based on the literature research, user research, questionnaire design method, and summarize the related principles of interface design of medical equipment; fourth, hemodialysis machine interactive design and interface element design adhere to the principle of medical equipment interface design; fifth, evaluate the interface design of the hemodialysis machine, analysis the evaluation results and propose improvement suggestions.
