In response to national policy and solve the disadvantage of ―hot, seepage, crack‖ on hollow brick wall and so on, our reasearch group presents a new type of horizontal hole hollow concrete block. This group for the new type of concrete cross hole hollow block masonry have studied on the compressive, shear and seismic, but the research on the seismic behavior of the connection between this kind of the masonry infilled wall and the frame has not been carried out. Therefore, this thesis designed four full-scale frame structures, which consists of one empty frame and three frames infilled wall, with the frames of the infilled wall include one rigid connection and two flexible connections. The difference of flexible connection specimen s is tie bar applied in between the frame beam and infilled wall. The experimental study and finite element analysis are carried out, and the corresponding construction measures and suggestions are put forward on the basis of the experiment and the finite element analysis. So as to solve the problem of the connection of the block in the practical engineering, and provide the basis for the promotion of the block.First of all, the development of the seismic performance of infilled wall frame structures with different connection forms is introduced, the characteristics of the damage under earthquake action and the necessity of the research on the flexible connection between infilled wall and frame are expounded, and the significance of the seismic performance of the connection form between the frame and the new type block masonry wall which proposed by our research group is emphasized.Secondly, the seismic performance of four full-scale frame structures of different connection forms, under constant vertical load and horizontal low cyclic loading, was studied. The test mainly introduced the process of stress and the failure modes of each trial, summarized the damage phenomenon characteristic rule, and the failure characteristics, hysteretic behavior, skeleton curve, displacement ductility, stiffness degradation, strength degradation and energy dissipation capacity of the frame und er different connection forms have been investigated.Again, using the finite element software ABAQUS to simulate the seismic performance of the frame infilled wall with different connection forms. In order to study the model in the horizontal cyclic loading of seismic performance, the model for concrete, masonry and reinforced material constitutive relation, the concrete damage plasticity model of material parameters were introduced in detail. By investigating the stress cloud images of each specimen, maximum plastic strain of concrete, the relationship between the load displacement curve and the test results are compared to verify the applicability analysis method of finite element modeling, which provide theoretical basis for the new horizontal hole hollow block masonry infilled wall frame structure. Finally, according to the practical engineering, the traditional masonry infilled wall construction measures are not entirely applicable to such new type of concrete hollow block, especially the flexible connection, its structural measures need to be improved. Therefore, this chapter focuses on the introduction of the wall and frame structure with flexible connection general provisions and construction measures of this new type of masonry based on the experiment and finite element analysis, and gives the design proposal, which has a good guiding significance for the application and development of masonry infilled walls.
