With the development of power system scale is more and faster, electric power system is becoming more and more huge and complex. The development of various electronic products, more and more frequent use of electrical equipment, power system planning and construction to consider and study the problem more complicated. For electric power system planning, the main focus on the power supply reliability, security and economy of the three aspects. As is known to all, reliability and economy is contradictory, both opposite and unified decision planning optimization in power system. Therefore, the study power grid planning problem is how to guarantee under the premise of power grid reliability, security, make its economy to achieve optimal, can maximum limit to reduce the power grid budget cost, improve the economic benefit. So, reliability and economy appears to be two independent research directions, but its inherent strong relationship. Generally we think, to analyze the reliability research of power system planning. Therefore, this article in view of the new district in lanzhou power grid, from the two aspects, Study the problems of the power grid planning first, and then study the power supply reliability, on the basis of the economy evaluation of the planning grid, through research and analysis, put forward the new district in lanzhou power grid planning, in lanzhou district power grid planning and construction has important guiding significance.
