Company M enjoys a power tunnel network spreading out over a large area. Cable tunnel network is an essential public facilities, and its steady operation impose decisive influence on the reliability of power supply to the whole city.With the economic development and the growth of city, cable tunnel is still on the way of explosive development. The past extensive mode of periodic inspection can’t meet the need of present cable tunnel development. And due to the obsolete technology the past conventional monitoring systems set up in the tunnel are information islands and the correlation is low, thus the data cannot be shared and the corresponding problems are gradually exposed in the long operation. The cable tunnel is now connected with each other, so the previous monitoring mode is no longer adapted in the information ear, meanwhile the data of the conventional monitoring is relatively simple, and it cannot effectively analyze the various data, and even increase the workload of the operator, played a counterproductive role.In the face of today’s complex operating environment, this project relies on modern information digital technology as the fundamental, to overall coordinate the information form the data platform of all aspects and build the cable tunnel environment risk management and control platform system. The system is capable to implement digital monitoring, intelligent processing and automated management on the cable tunnel. By using of this system, the previous data barriers between the various monitoring systems are broken. From the global perspective, the joint of each information system can achieve a unified operating management on the cable tunnel. Meanwhile, based on the advanced remote sensing technology, geographic information system, video transmission technology etc. A complete cable tunnel network where the company M located was created, also the cable tunnel management system is gradually reformed. Above all, this can realize the transition to a state maintenance of the cable tunnel, to form a new cable tunnel management modes. By the pilot run in some district, the system achieved a good economic and social benefit.
