Power grid planning plays an important role in the development of local economy and society, and lays the solid foundation of the power enterprise’s future development as well. The lOkV and above power grid has experienced a rapid development in China. Meanwhile in some places the low-voltage distribution network is relatively disordered and weak. Major problems consist of outdated equipment, large power supply radius, small wire cross-section, low insulation levels, shortage of reactive power compensation, lack of transformer capacity, and low level of automation.Through an investigation on the status and the low-voltage distribution network of Jishanchang Village, the Beautiful-County of Anji, combined with the economy, village planning and power system status, it is found that the outdated power system status of Jishanchang Village, and its unreliable system structure, could hardly satisfy the future development of the village. According to the developing requirement of the Beautiful-County, the low-voltage distribution network of Jishanchang Village is planned in this paper.Per capita consumption method, per household consumption method, maximum load availability hours method, time series method and regression analysis method are used, in combination with power consumption status of Jishanchang Village, to forecast the total energy consumption and the maximum of the village, providing data support for subsequent planning work. Based on the traditional distribution network planning method, distribution network planning and village development planning are combined for an overall consideration, which make the planning more practical. The future low-voltage line channel and the distribution transformer layout mode are clearly planned. The proposed plan’s investment is estimated and the result is given. Power supply satisfaction ability index, consists of power supply ability, power loss, power quality and main equipment function status, is analyzed and the result shows that the proposed planning could satisfy the demand of the Beautiful-County power grid construction.
