Electricity is indispensable in modern production and daily life. The traditional energy shortage is one major challenge facing the world, realization of substituting renewable energy for fossil energy is urgent and significant. This paper mainly performs analysis on characteristic and design of hydraulic energy transmission based on distributed renewable energy such as wind and wave energy, and put forward more advanced and comprehensive utilization methods for practical application.Firstly, distributed renewable energy conversion characteristics are expounded, then the properties of pump, motor, cylinder, bladder type hydropneumatic accumulator are expounded, for those are devices of much concern for the hydraulic energy transmission system, next, features of hydraulic pressure loop are minutely limned via mathematical derivation. All these lay a firm foundation for subsequent content.Secondly, commercial software AMESim is introduced for theoretical analysis of hydraulic drive system’s operation characteristic. Besides, theory of the distributed renewable energy transmission’s control system and prototype of crucial components are expatiated respectively. Subsequently, the basic principle of the electricity generation originate from wave resource is expounded, the hydraulic power actuating system of multi-buoyant energy absorbing unit is presented and corresponding AMESim model is built. The model simulation under diverse scenarios is carried out and relevant characteristic curve are obtained. Similarly, AMESim model of wind hydraulic drive power unit is constructed and its operating performance is explored.Thirdly, on the strength of the study above, melioration are made to enhance hydraulic transmission circuit’s adaptability and durability. For purpose of preferable offshore hydraulic drive type wind energy exploitation, a solution is doped out for conceivable unfavourable working plight. Synthesis scheme of hydraulic system for multi-energy power generation are proposed, and model simulation study of the offshore wave energy and wind power generation by using software AMESim is implemented.The theoretical analysis focusing on velocity regulation scheme, simulation analysis for design of proportional flow control valve and solution for weakening intermittent power input impact lay basis for prototype program of complementary power generation platform structure. Key techniques are proved to be feasible via simulation analyses. Microsoft Office Access is adapted for developing hydraulic transmission design system.
