Smart grid is the world’s latest developing and reforming trend of power system, and one key technology to build a smart grid is intelligent dispatching which highly extend existing dispatching and controlling central functions. Many dispatching agencies have widely used lots of app, such as data acquisitting and supervising control systems (SCADA), energy management systems (EMS), Dispatcher training Simulator (DTS), the vector of wide area measurement system (WAMS), waterpower dispatching automation systems, relay protection for electricity market operation system, administration system, dispatching management system (DMIS).Aim to establish power dispatching data platform is to provide a standards-based integrated approach by which a variety of applications and datas could be coordinated s, and to build a platform based on common standards to supply various datas and services with confined information model, protocols and ID for different applications.The platform provides all all types of datas and services required by quantities of apps in order to manage and use information resources effectively and realize uniqueness and sharing of data sources. The paper analyzes several aspects including building system platform in power supply bureaus, providing an infrastructure of support, building maintenance, and data updating system, set up data exchange mechanisms. And it also mentions some related parts to design and build the platform with unified object encoding, metadata management, data consolidation, data transmission, data processing. From scheduling application requirements of different specialties, it is neccesary to study the various features of the platform as well as have a further research based on the platform of multidimensional analysis applications. Meanwhile, according to demands of accessent indexes, the platform is also used to supervise the quality of bureaus’ essencial datas and the usage of remote control. By doing so, we could improve the assessment scores and ranks.
