With the development of the economy and constant progress of science andtechnology, large-span steel structure for buildings is widely applied. Spacelatticework is constructed with three-dimensional space and body force, whichis characterized by reasonable force, great stiffness, lightweight, low cost, innovative forms, which can highlight the beauty of the architecture and is fullof artistic expression.But large-span space latticework construction is a complex system, whichdemands integrated considerations of design and construction. Therefore, howto efficiently and accurately analyze the internal forces of this complex structuresystem have become urgent problems to be solved in areas of large-span spatialbuilding of the world. This paper researched on grid structure from two aspectsincluding design and construction. The specific work is as follows:l.First,the paper introduces the characteristic, development andapplication of large-span space latticework. It specifically summarizes thedesign concept of shell structure, and focuses on common and new constructionmethods.2.Nanjing Olympic training base training floor steel gridas the research target, the paper introduces andanalyzes the complex structure, calculation models, and load cases andcombinations, Using Midas Gen to conduct the line calculation of the airport’sstructure. Besides, the structural displacement, internal force and other static properties and seismic responses against earthquake are analyzed specificallyand systematically.3.The paper introduces the entire construction process of the structure andcomplexity of construction technology.4.Applications sap2000 software network structure of the lifting process for structural analysis, analysis of the effects of different construction process on the structure of the calculation results are analyzed in detail, in order to ensure the safety of the construction of the structure.In summary, through the analysis of Nanjing Olympic training base training floor steel grid structure, itshows that the structural displacement, stress and so can satisfy therequirements and obtain the load transfer and controlled conditionscombination. Construction method such as hydraulic asynchronous flip, synchronous lift, the field stress monitoring and computer simulation techniquecan effectively guide the construction process, ensuring the safety andsuccessful carryout of the project. Based on the systematicanalysis of design and construction, this paper has provided valuableexperiences on the construction of large-span steel structure.
