Since the State Grid Corporation in 2009 proposed the building of "strong and smart grid", the national grid system has completed the new voltage level construction and expanded intelligent substation more than 1,500 seats. With the rapid advance of smart grid construction, intelligent substation faced a large number of maintenance tasks, as well as intelligent station expansion and transformation of conventional stations. Intelligent substation information transmission network, and the coupling between the device tightly, application configuration files of the secondary system maintenance, expansion and renovation process between devices difficult security isolation, safety measures abstract, complex, security measures were no longer applied, which brought great security risk to the maintenance, expansion and renovation work; especially substation change, expansion process, change the profile of the station, resulting in related equipment and circuits by verification difficulties affecting the impact, which determine the scope and circuits to implement the maintenance, expansion and renovation work.To solve these problems, this paper shows characteristics of the system one by one analysis, and then began to study intelligent substation relay security measures introduced intelligent substation three common sampling and trip mode, and conventional and intelligent substation substation security measures characteristics analysis, to describe the security measures to implement countermeasures. On this basis, a typical 220 kV line bay 500 kV main transformer interval as an example, the conventional sampling, SV sampling interval check GOOSE tripping mode specific security measures. Finally Intelligent Substation 110 kV bus differential protection without power expansion program, and in Hangzhou,220 kV,110 kV Wen jin variable expansion project, to verify 110 kV bus differential protection without power expansion strategy and correctness related security measures reliability. In this paper, in-depth study of intelligent substation expansion technology research programs and apply Hangzhou grid prepared Hangzhou cloud intelligent terminal become 220kV reform program.
