Since the 21 st century,with the rapid economic development,rapid upgrading of technology,human society,increasing dependence on electricity,in order to meet the development needs of the concept of smart grid has been proposed,and quickly become the global power industry seminars Of the hot spots.State Grid Corporation of intelligent grid based on the direction of development and key equipment research experience,the proposed Smart substation of the international first technology system,is the cutting edge of the field of substation technology,and it is also the basis of smart grid and key links.In this paper,through reading a lot of literature,in-depth understanding of the development of Smart substation at home and abroad,and Smart substation related to a variety of technologies,equipment and other information to master.Through the analysis of the characteristics of Smart substation and network structure,it further deepens the understanding of the concept of Smart substation,and clearly shows the obvious difference between Smart substation and traditional substation technology,at the same time,the related technology of Smart substation is understood.The sampling and tripping modes of Smart substation relay protection are analyzed.Combining the advantages and disadvantages of these models,the most suitable relay protection mode is proposed.On this basis,according to the requirements of Smart substation design specifications and guidelines,the secondary system scheme of 220 kV Qiaoxi Smart substation is studied and analyzed,and the network scheme of Qiaoxi station is analyzed with emphasis on network topological structure.Comparison of several networking modes of the process layer and the VLAN partitioning method of GOOSE network.Combined with the actual Shijiazhuang grid,proposed in the process of engineering design network using the "SV point to point + GOOSE network" mode.At the same time,the secondary substation application system scheme such as the clock synchronization system of Smart substation is expounded.Smart substation technology has a certain degree of maturity,but in some key technologies and applications there are still bottlenecks,with the continuous development of technology,secondary system reliability and stability of the rising,Smart substation will gradually realize the true sense of the "Smart ".
