Wind power as one of the world’s most mature technology and most large-scale commercial development potential of new energy, with rich reserves, renewable, widely distributed, clean environment and other characteristics. Taizhou is located in the central coastal Zhejiang Province, east East China Sea, west Jinhua, Lishui, north of Shaoxing, Ningbo, south of Wenzhou, a subtropical monsoon climate. Development of wind power for the development of wind energy resources in coastal Taizhou, and further optimize the energy structure, reduce environmental pressures, to achieve sustainable development of wind power industry in Zhejiang Province is of great significance. This paper will combine the actual situation of the Taizhou grid, and do the study of how wind farms connected to the grid.This subject carried out power balance analysis in Taizhou and Sanmen areas, designed three wind farms systems program, and many economic and technical comparison, and the corresponding electrical calculations, combined with three more regional grid planning perspective, to determine the wind farm access system, clarify the requirements for electrical equipment selection and protection, remote device configuration, the system shows the current large-capacity wind farm system need to be addressed research content.
