Because of the unbalance in the regional economic development,the Qingyuan power system is small in size and has weak regions as well as weak interregional connections.As the load center,two districts,i.e.the Qingcheng and Qingxin,installs only 21.7% of the city's total power generation capacity and owns 56.0% of the city's total electricity load.One the other hand,almost 56.1% of the generation capacity of the city is located in the Lianyang district,where the electricity load in this area only accounts for 8.9% of the city's total.The local economic development of Lianyang district is relatively lagging behind so that most of the power generation in this area should be output to other area.Furthermore,a huge amount of electricity exchange from the West provinces to the Guangdong province will also pass through the Lianyang power grid.The power acception and output ability of the grid is facing great challenge in safety and reliability aspects.Among the "Thirteen five-year cycle",the wind power,photovoltaic and other renewable energy source develops very fast in the Lianyang district,the problems of insufficient transformer capacity,heavy load in transmission channel,complicated load flow direction and difficulty in operation and control etc..will become more and more prominent.In this thesis,the main problems existed in the present Qingyuan power system is analyzed from the power source,load distribution and power grid viewpoint.Then the development of wind power,hydro power and other renewable energy source in this city in the near future is investigated and the typical daily features in power generation and consumption are analyzed.In specific to the power acception and out-sending difficulty in Lianyang power grid,several set of power grid planning schemes are put forward.The recommended scheme is proposed on the basis of comprehensive technique and economic comparisons.The research of this thesis has a positive guiding effect on the rationally clean energy access and scientific grid construction.Besides,it can also provide a reference to the planning of district power grids with similar features.
