Silver as a noble metal, because it has many excellent properties, is widely used in the field of optical electric appliance, aerospace, communications equipment, laser, searchlights and other. Silver and silver products exposed to industrial air or in sour gas environment, the surface is easy to generate black or yellow film. The silver has been oxidized if long-term exposure to sulfur in the atmosphere, it is easy to be two times of vulcanization, the formation of sulfide corrosion discoloration. Therefore, the silver and silver sulfide proof products is a problem solving the practical significance of the urgent need of industrial products of silver.In order to effectively solve the atmosphere corrosion of silver and silver products.The topic of this paper is to study the anti sulfur corrosion in the extreme environment with the paper packaging of the silver products.The topic of this paper is to study the anti sulfur corrosion in the extreme environment with the paper packaging of the silver products.The protection of the packing material is not corroded by the air in the air, affecting its application effect and service life.The United States MICHELMAN company production anti sulfur coating is coated on the corrugated paper prepared a with anti sulfur coated paperboard, with the wrapping sheet silver specimens and placed in laboratory conditions simulating extreme sulfur atmosphere environment. To observe the corrosion of the packaged silver pieces, test and analyze the effect of the different coating amount of the packaging board on the corrosion protection of the sample. The coated corrugated board with different coating amount were prepared in advance to prepare the silver piece sample, and the Lab value was measured by spectrophotometer without interval of 12 hours. SEM and EDS analysis are used to analyze the change of coated paper fiber and the changes of surface energy spectrum after silver sheet corrosion. The coating of corrugated cardboard and not through the side of the coated corrugated cardboard compressive strength, bursting strength, puncture strength, compressive strength were analyzed, and the physical properties of comparative analysis of the two analysis coated corrugated board is suitable for practical application. Three considerations, verify the anti sulfur packing paper can play to sulfide corrosion proof effect, due to a decrease of the silver pieces to sulfide corrosion, to the enterprise caused by the loss of comprehensive protection effect, physical properties and cost analysis. Concludes that the use of coating weight to 18-22g/m2 anti sulfur packing cardboard packaging of industrial silver products, better physical properties of the comprehensive protection effect and board, can avoid industrial silver products exposed in the industrial atmosphere caused by sulfur corrosion can reduce economic losses by silver product sulfur corrosion.
