Research On Nansha New District’s Long-term Planning Of Power Grid

Located in the Pearl River estuary, Nansha new district is the hub connecting the urban agglomerations on both sides of the Pearl River estuary and the important opening portal. On September 2012, the State Council officially approved the " the development plan of Guangzhou Nansha new district " which marks the Nansha new district becoming the sixth state-level new district and regional development and construction jumped to the national strategic level. The approval explicits the strategic position,development goal, priority and policy support of Nansha new district which provide broad platform and unprecedented opportunity to enhance the comprehensive competitiveness.Currently, Nansha new district’s overall plan has been introduced and the preparation of regulative detailed plan is in order. The plan intends to build the new district into an influential coastal city which has reasonable layout, decent infrastructure and quality public service. Based on Guangzhou, relying on the Pearl River Delta, relying on the Pearl River Delta, connecting Hong Kong and Macao and facing the mainland and the world, Nansha new district will become a high-quality life circle of Guang Dong, Hong Kong and Macao, the new urbanization model, the production of service industry as the leading modern industry new heights, the integrated services hub at the world advanced level and the social management service innovation pilot area.The development of electricity comes before the development of city. In the near future, Nansha new district will usher in a period of rapid development, all of which will rely heavily on the electricity. But at present, there is no reasonable and perfect power network planning to match with Nansha new district. To promote the effective cohesion of electricity plan and urban plan and use high standard to build strong grid to fit the plan of new district, a reasonable, sound and efficient Nansha district grid far-seeing plan seems necessary.The paper bases on the regulative detailed plan of Guangzhou Nansha new district. In the light of function orientation, spatial layout, the nature of land, population size and other requirements of the overall plan, the paper forecasts the power load demand through load-density method. And the high vision load forecasting result of 8510000 kilowatts is finally recommended as Nansha new district’s perspective load with the use of horizontal analogy method. According to the overall demand load forecasting and subdivisions load demand forecasting result and combination the detail information of Nansha district lot, the paper has a vision plan of grid which ascertains the sites of substation and line corridors of high-voltage line in order to achieve the goal of rational use of resources, protection of electrical safety, optimization of grid structure.The paper makes the conclusions of the Nansha New District Power Grid vision scale with eighty 110 kV substations, seventeen 220 kV substations, and two 500 kV substations.Through the analysis of the status of Nansha new district’s power grid and the principle of high-voltage power grid plan, the paper forecasts the grid substation capacity and has a plan of the distribution point for substations and grid. This plan is perspective and a special plan for Nansha district’s long-term development.
