Simulation Of CMOS Camera Imaging System

With the progress of CMOS imaging sensor technology, CMOS sensors have obvious advantages in many ways compared to the CCD sensor, especially in the areas of low power consumption, high integration, high processing speed, small size and low cost, etc. It is very suitable for application of camera imaging system now.Based on the research of CMOS camera, we describe the research of CMOS camera imaging system. We choose the AR0542 CMOS sensor of Aptina company to optimization design. Based on the application of AR0542 sensor is mainly in mobile phone imaging system, we determine the direction of the camera optimization design. For AR0542 sensor, we complete optimization of the optical imaging lens; For basic structure of CMOS sensor, we complete design of control circuit of the camera. Details are as follows:1 、 This paper introduces the AR0542 CMOS chip’s characteristic parameters such as resolution, basic structure, etc. In view of the camera lens is optimized design, in view of the CMOS camera to build the system, and complete the optimization of the imaging acquisition system.2、The part of lens by using ZEMAX optical design software design a camera lens. The lens uses four pieces of aspheric plastic lenses with a total of 5 million pixels. The total length of optical field is only 5.1mm, each field of aberrations is less than 5μm. Most field view values of MTF at 1/2 Nyquist frequency range is bigger than 0.5. The relative illumination is more than 70% and the distortion is less than 2%. The imaging quality is great and compliance with the thin and light market demand.3、The camera circuit part uses Modelsim simulation software to realize control, acquisition and filtering functions. It makes the collection processing and output of the actual image.
