Abstract/Summary:
According to the policy of total amount controlof energy consumption, it is necessary to keep energy consumption of commercial buildings under control in the whole process. However, the lack of energy consumption management in commercial buildings in China results in excess energy consumption and life cycle cost. In order to fix that, this articlecame up with a Whole Process Management Method for Total Energy Control of Commercial Buildings, including a set of quality management indicators for electromechanical and energy systems, and a management process to fulfill the objectives of indicators.The actuality of electromechanical and energy systems of commercial buildings in China was presented based on large amount of data and a lot of experience in real world projects, which pointes out that the lack of objectives and tools in energy consumption management is the reason for excess energy consumption and cost.The article proposed a value model of HVAC system, based on which a set of quality management indicators for electromechanical and energy systems were abstracted to be the management objectives. Each indicator was explained with definition, formula and examples.On the base of quality management indicators, a management process was raised, and critical control points in whole process were summarized to ensure the indicators’ real values fulfilling the objectives. Four real world projects were presented as examples.The Whole Process Management Method for Total Energy Control of Commercial Buildings should be used in the new commercial buildings, to keep their energy consumption reasonable and therefore contribute to the total energy control target of commercial buildings in China.
