Research On The Pattern Of Han Ethic Rural Settlement In Zhongshan(Xiangshan)

Zhongshan(Xiangshan) is located Zhujiang delta, the traditional houses are affected by Cantonese culture. Compared with core area of Cantonese region, Zhongshan(Xiangshan) has distinctive regional characteristics mainly embodied in Han Ethic and rural settlements. The ultimate purpose of this research is to enrich and refine the Cantonese region, especially the research and understanding of the regional characteristics of the traditional houses.First, we read and sort out the relevant literature of rural settlements in Zhongshan(Xiangshan), and count the data of village origin and settlements’ pattern, and then carry out the field survey of the representative villages in Zhongshan(Xiangshan). On the basis of combing Han Ethic’s formation and settlement distribution of Zhongshan(Xiangshan), analysis the spatial pattern of rural settlements combined with the investigation of cases. Finally, to sum up the regional characteristics of traditional houses in Zhongshan(Xiangshan).Four parts are discussed in this paper.The first part: the second chapter of the thesis, is to synthetically analysis natural environment, social history and regional culture of Zhongshan(Xiangshan), and then to sum up the formation background of rural settlements in Zhongshan(Xiangshan). In particular, the rich type of terrain is particularly important to the rural settlements in Zhongshan(Xiangshan).The second part: the third chapter of the thesis, is to mainly research on the formation of Han Ethic and settlement distribution of Zhongshan(Xiangshan). Han Ethic is the point to study rural settlements in Zhongshan(Xiangshan) and is an important cause of its regional characteristics. Among them, the geographical change and population migration of the ancient Xiangshan, is the key factor to the formation of Han Ethic in Zhongshan(Xiangshan).The third part: the fourth chapter of the thesis, is the core of this paper. From the macro, meso and micro level, to analysis the spatial pattern of rural settlement in Zhongshan(Xiangshan). In this chapter, we first count the data of most villages in Zhongshan(Xiangshan), and then combining the typical cases to analyze pattern of settlement from three level.The fourth part: the fifth chapter of the thesis, is the conclusion of this paper. In the first four chapters, we compare the similarities and differences of rural settlements in Zhongshan(Xiangshan) with core area of Cantonese region. In this chapter, we try to summarize the regional characteristics of rural settlements in Zhongshan(Xiangshan) in order to better carry out the relevant research of rural settlements in Zhongshan(Xiangshan).The above four chapters are interrelated and indispensable. The second chapter is the basis of the thesis. The third chapter is the breakthrough point of the thesis. The fourth chapter is the main body of the thesis. The fifth chapter is the conclusion of the article.
