| In the central business districts(CBD), there is a growing demand to build a comprehensive pedestrian system to combine urban transportation system, buildings and urban landscape together. Through the stereoscopic and systematic pedestrian space, varied needs in the CBD can be satisfied. This space can function as complex transportation, business and recreation etc. combined with natural ecological landscape and human landscape. To achieve this, it requires a fast, efficient and comfortable pedestrian system. And factors such as structure, element integration and the use of urban design should be considered when build the system.Based on empirical research together with basic theory and case study, this essay makes a deep analysis of the integrated relations among systematic structure, form factors and urban elements of Zhujiang New Town core area. Besides, it analyzes typical pedestrian space from the perspective of urban design. It summaries planning and design principles of the CBD pedestrian system and it puts forward the solutions of how to build the system.This essay can be divided into four parts:Firstly, it explains the background and meaning of the research, as well as the objective, range and some basic notions of the research. It interprets the systematic theory and model of some typical foreign pedestrian systems. Through the summary of foreign and domestic pedestrian systems and Zhujiang New Town study, it points out the key point and deficiency of this field. It also makes up the method and technical route.(Chapter 1)Secondly, it summarizes the research frame of CBD pedestrian systems which mainly includes space element, the structure and the integration with urban element as well as key points of planning and designing of pedestrian space system. Besides,by analyzing CBD pedestrian systems cases from home and abroad, it finds out some experience to draw on and summarizes the features of pedestrian system in CBD areas.(Chapter 2)The core part of this dissertation based on the empirical research of Zhujiang New Town core area, it focuses mainly on the three-dimensional structure, space form features and functions of the systematic pedestrian system. Through the study of external contact, connection with rail transit system, bus station and the parking lot, it sores out the relationship and interaction between pedestrian space system and Urban system elements. Then, it summaries the size, interface, continuity, environmental facilities and environmental construction of pedestrian system of Zhujiang New Town core area.(Chapter 3)Finally, based on the theory research, case study and empirical research in the former essay, it summaries the planning and design principles of the CBD pedestrian system. It puts forward construction solutions in aspects such as network layout, traffic dock, strengthening joint, routine optimization, complex function, combined urban design and pleasant environment creating.(Chapter 4)The research and summary of this essay is aimed to offer some experience for the plan, design and practice of the CBD pedestrian system in our country, make pedestrian system a virtuous cycle in CBD transportation, improve the quality of urban traffic and bring new vigor and vibrancy to regional development. |
