The Study On The Space Design Of Battle Of The Martyrs Cemetery

Martyrs cemetery has a very long history and unique design method in our country as a special memorial space. With the progress of the times, martyrs cemetery is not only functioned as a place to bury the remains of revolutionary martyrs, but also used to cherish the revolutionary martyrs and a patriotism education base.The Qu Peiqing studio that I worked is perennial committed to the research and design of red revolutionary cultural base project, so the dissertation is based on the actual project “The Study on the design of battle of the martyrs cemetery space”,considering its historical importance and the need for patriotic education at present stage,the scale and supporting facilities badly need reconstruction and enlargement. Taking this reconstruction and enlargement as an opportunity, we analyzed and summarized the space characteristics of martyrs cemetery, and studied the design methods to reach the spatial features, furthermore, the developments and changes of the above methods along with the times are analyzed.At first, the research background 、 foundation 、 purpose and significance are proposed, then the content and framework of this dissertation are confirmed. The paper mainly analyzed the spatial elements and characteristics of martyrs cemetery from the point view of typical cases, and summarized the design methods and design rules of martyrs cemetery, and went back to the actual project “The Study on the design of battle of the martyrs cemetery space”. At last, we came to the conclusion of the study for the design of martyrs cemetery.The dissertation is mainly focused on the space and place of the battle of the martyrs cemetery, and fourth、fifth、sixth and the seventh chapters are the core sectionsof the study. By analyzing the typical martyrs cemetery concretely, and combining the project background and different scheme design of the battle of the martyrs cemetery,we analyzed different martyrs cemetery space, then summarized the cemetery space and place construction.
