Middle school students as a special group of traffic, show strong independence, their purpose of the trip is to go to school, after school, and they often use bicycle or bus travel. The survey found that middle school students easy to cause traffic accidents because of serious traffic violations in the cycling process. At present, the research of traffic safety in China is mainly from the angle of the vehicle and the driver of the motor vehicle, and it is also not ideal for the middle school students to ride safety management from the angle of adult. This paper based on the risk dodging concept, take secondary school students bike rider as the research object to explore the influencing factors of the perceived risk, establishes measures to improve risk awareness, improve the ability of the rider to risk perception, the final purpose is to avoid the occurrence of traffic accidents from the source.Paper first describes the cyclists risk perception research foundation, bicycle riding safety concept is introduced and analysis middle school students bike riders’ psychology, behavior and speed characteristics. Risk perception theory only defined it as the subjective perception of human category, but the perceived risk of a bike rider also affected road traffic objective environment. Based on the mechanism of traffic conflict, traffic conflict is used as the background of risk perception, and the type of traffic conflict and the identification method of bicycle traffic are introduced. And the establishment of factors affecting risk perception and identification of risk perception directly influencing factors. Data were collected using questionnaires and traffic conflict as a combination of methods, using the factor analysis method to extract the rider factors affecting risk perception and quantify. Finally, demonstrate survival analysis the applicability of, cumulative survival rate as a rider perceived risk sensitivity index, establish risk perception-Cox model. On the basis of survey data obtained model estimation results and the covariate mean state under the cumulative survival function curve, based on the cumulative survival rate of division of risk perception sensitivity level. Keep the rest of the covariate mean state and change a single covariate value analysis of the influence of different factors to the rider perceived risk sensitivity, as the basis for the formulation of risk perception improvement measures.Take XI FEI NO.2 MIDDLE SCHOOL XI’AN YANLIANG as an example, analysis factors affecting cyclists risk perception of this middle school students, proposed the middle-school student cyclists risk perception improvement measures and bicycle safety recommendations. The research results of this paper can be used for road traffic facilities design and traffic management, and can be used to provide a theoretical basis for vulnerable road users risk perception study, also has certain guiding significance for intelligent traffic risk perception system research.
