Asphalt rubber with its advantages of good road performance, reducing pavement distress and waste utilization has been paid much attention in road construction community, however the high viscosity of asphalt rubber makes it with high asphalt-stone ratio and high temperature in the use of project. Reactivity rubber asphalt has its advantage of low viscosity. Study the relationship between Modification mechanism and basic performance of asphalt rubber, By analyzing the relevant of gradation design theory, combined with the use of reactivity rubber asphalt in typical dense-graded and the use of wet rubber asphalt in gap-graded, determine the mixture design theory and road performance of reactivity rubber asphalt.Firstly, contrast the difference of microscopic and components between wet rubber asphalt and reactivity rubber asphalt to Study its Modification mechanism. And by macroscopic experiments and micro-structure to further verify its modification mechanism. Compare the basic properties of wet rubber asphalt, SBS modified asphalt and reactivity rubber asphalt. Use SHRP indicators and viscosity-temperature curve to determine the properties of this asphalt rubber.Secondly, Analysis the domestic rubber asphalt mixture design standard. By experimental to analysis currently problems of wet rubber asphalt in use of gap-graded; By reactivity asphalt rubber viscosity-temperature characteristics, explore in the dense-graded use reactivity rubber asphalt. By carrying out experiments in AC-13 and SMA-13 contrast with SBS modified asphalt, Determine the feasibility of reactivity rubber asphalt in use of Dense-graded mixture. But it also has high asphalt-stone ratio.Then, study the relationship between Asphalt mixture gradation and asphalt-stone ratio to introducing asphalt film thickness. And 135℃ viscosity is generally considered with the asphalt-stone ratio. So, determine the relationship of 135℃ viscosity and asphalt film thickness. Analysis asphalt mixtures of its composition structural of mechanism. Introducing V-S volume design method, combined with asphalt film thickness,135 ℃ viscosity, asphalt mixture of asphalt-stone ratio, The V-S volume design method of fine aggregate divided into fine aggregate and filler. Designed reactivity rubber asphalt of Dense-graded and framework gradation with different particle sizes in aggregate. Through experiments to Verify these two asphalt mixture of parameter settings and road performance.Finally, according to this rubber asphalt properties, combined entity engineering of the road, analysis the critical process construction of asphalt mixture. Through the engineering of the road to prove the feasibility of reactivity rubber asphalt use in framework structure Gradation. Test the performance of experimental road.
