Research On The Interaction Effects Among The Safety Climate Of Construction Crews

Construction crew is the basic unit and organization of the construction enterprise who engaged in the production activities of construction, and the safety climate of construction crew is an important component of the construction project organizational safety climate. The safety climate of construction crew and its interaction can react tothe safety management of construction enterprises, and the study of construction crew’s safety climate and its interaction will help to provide specific recommendations to the construction site safety management. However, the current research of construction crew’s safety climate is still very lacking, therefore, the effects of interaction amongthe safety climate of construction crews is studied for contribute to the study of construction team’s safety climate in our country and for the construction site safety management to provide a targeted Suggestions. In this paper, the research content mainly includes the following aspects:(1) Through the detailed literature review of internal and external safety climate and the security management of construction crew available literature, the current research status and research directions are analysised and the gaps of safety management of existing research in the field of building construction crew are pointed out. For the deficiencies of existing research, this paper analyzes the theoretical and practical significance of the safety climate of construction crew andthe effects of its interaction, and builts the research framework too.(2) On the basis of relevant theoretical research at home and abroad, combined with the actual situation of the construction site and expert interviews, the definition, classification andthe mutual influence characteristics of China’s construction crew is finished. On the basis ofcategory theory, social identity theory and so on, and combination the related research of intergroup relations as well as group interaction model and the actual situation of construction industry,the model of interaction effects amongthe safety climate of construction crews are proposed.(3) By sorting the literature analysis and expert interviews, a questionnaire of seven dimensions of 32 questions to measure the safety climate of construction crew has been developed, which including the safety system and the attitude of the leadership, safety training, safety supervision, team leader behavior, worker behavior, secure communication and risk provisions. And the reasonableness of the questionnaire has been Verified through the pre-investigation. Then, a construction site’s concrete construction crews are conducted a two-stage construction crews’safety climate survey and through Cluster Analysis and Multiple comparisons, the causes of the interactionamong the construction crews’safety climate have been explored, both the effects and the intermediation process of the construction crews’safety climate. And measures and recommendations to promote a positive atmosphere among the construction crews of mutual influence are proposed.The results show that:the safety climate of construction crewis internal with a similar atmosphere and external with heterogeneity; the interaction among the safety climate of construction crews can influence the homogeneity in construction crew and heterogeneity among construction crews. Moreover, the contact among the construction crews, task dependencies, learning outside the construction crews, the construction crew leader behavior, behavior and safety of workers communicate can affect the interaction a the construction crews’ safety climate.
