Research On The Effect Of Safety Climate To Metro Construction Workers' Safety Behavior

In recent years,magnanimous safety misadventure occurs in metro construction,causing serious casualties and economic losses.Therefore,the safety issues of metro construction arouse the extensive attention of scholars.The safety behavior of metro construction workers is the cornerstone of safety production,and a great safety climate can effectively improve workers' safety behavior and reduce the rate of safety accidents.Therefore,exploring the influencing of safety climate on safety behavior has remarkable significance on improving workers' safety behavior and enhancing safety management level of metro construction enterprises.In this paper,based on the analysis of metro construction workers safety behavior theory,the concept,characteristics and influencing factors of safety behavior of metro construction workers were defined.Literature research and expert interviews were adopted in this paper to identify the specific dimensions of the safety climate which are management commitment,safety exchanges,safety policy,safety education and training and safety participation,respectively.Through theoretical analysis and literature research,the meaning of safety climate's dimensions was then defined,the way of measuring safety climate,safety awareness,safety capability and safety behavior developed,and the theoretical model of how safety climate influences metro construction workers' safety behavior formulated on the basis of the research hypothesis proposed.According to the procedures and methods of empirical research,questionnaires were compiled.Statistical analysis,reliability analysis and validity analysis of the model of initial structural equation were conducted using(SPSS19.0 and AMOS21.0),and the model of initial structural equation was tested,operated and corrected by using AMOS21.0,thus the optimal model was derived.Then the theoretical hypothesis was tested using the initial model and the optimal model,and a detailed analysis of the test data was conducted.The analysis results showed that safety climate has a significant positive effect on metro construction workers' safety behavior.Among them,the safety exchange and safety policy have a direct positive effect on safety behavior;management commitment,safety education and training and safety participation have indirect positive effects on safety behavior;safety awareness and ability play an intermediary role.Finally,based on the analysis results,some suggestions on enhancing safety of construction workers were put forward from 5 aspects.
