By observing the line loss rate, we can raise the Power Network plan and design comprehensively,optimize production operation and improve management level. To reduce the line loss rate means to reduce the waste in energy transition and improve the power supply capacity, therefore improve the benefits of Power Supply Enterprises. Accordingly, it is quite meaningful and important to study the calculate method of line loss and to provide useful measures to reduce the management line loss.Within this paper, we combined the current situation of Power Supply Enterprises at home and abroad, and discussed deeply about how to develop the under 10 kV line loss management system, how to improve enterprise management and increase benefit for the Power Supply Enterprises. Mainly include:(1) Via analyzing the domestic current situation of line loss management and weakness in line loss management system, bringing out the meaning of this research paper.(2) Describe the meaning of line loss calculation and the basic concept of line loss, theoretically compared some normal calculate methods of line loss, and mainly use the Improved Equivalent Resistance Method to calculate.(3) With the observation of current situation of line loss management in Power Supply Enterprises, according to the electric energy loss distribution law obtained from theoretical analysis and calculation, finding out the problems in management, Focus on the work of reducing losses, formulate detailed rules, in order to reduce the power loss of distribution network, strengthen the economic operation of the power grid. So that a more sophisticated enterprise line loss management, real-time display of line loss index, timely put forward the measures of loss reduction scheme to solve the worries for the electricity enterprises, improve the economic benefit of power supply enterprises.
