Therefore, engineering contracts become clear, the employer and the contractor’s have responsibility to ensure the engineering construction activities smoothly for the main control means, The process of project’s construction is in essence a series of engineering contract signing and implementation.Because the engineering construction generally has complicated structure, big volume, material type, big workload, long construction cycle and so on that makes a lot of uncertainty in the process of project implementation. Any contract is impossible to foresee and cover all possible changes in the process of project implementation, so the engineering change is inevitable and contract content changes frequently is one of the characteristics of engineering contract. At present, in the field of engineering construction and engineering change decision making that is a lack of effective evaluation tool too hard to choose the most reasonable in the process of project changes. The most effective control cost, construction period and quality, and trapped in the engineering change lead to claims, contract disputes over the troubles.By reading literature, the research status at home and abroad have a basic understanding, Based on through mentors, face-to-face with practical experience in the construction unit to participate in the project management. ZTZ project as a case to study, this paper analyzes the reasons of changes, the selection of evaluation indexes, the performance of the contract change management model, through the performance model analysis and comparison. The performance of the contract changes to realize the effective evaluation of engineering change, a prior evaluation to choose a more reasonable scheme for the purpose of change.Mainly through consolidation and rehabilitation project in the research data, using the theory with practice, combination, qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis method. Analysis factors cause the contract of variation and influence factors, using the value engineering evaluation method to analyze the raw data, analyzed the impact of the change, build the performance of the contract change management model, to achieve the goal of effective evaluation.
