Study On The Satisfaction Of Barrier Free Environment Construction In Lanzhou City

The construction of barrier free environment embodies the idea of "human centered" concept of planning and design. It is not only convenient for the disabled and other special groups of technical means, but also fully embodies the human care and universal respect for all members of society. The level of urban barrier free environment construction is not only an important criterion for the overall level and the spiritual connotation of the city environment, but also an important benchmark to measure the degree of urban civilization. In recent years, with the concern of the government and the public, our country has made great progress in the construction of barrier free environment. Particularly the successful holding of the 2008 Paralympic Games makes our country’s barrier free environment construction level has been recognized by the international. But there is no denying that there are still many problems in the construction of the barrier free environment in our country. Therefore, to carry out the research on barrier free environment is of great significance to promote the development of the barrier free environment in China.In this paper, taking Lanzhou city as a case study, a series of attempts have been made to explore the urban barrier free environment construction. The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly elaborates the research origin and the research significance of the barrier free environment construction. The second chapter discusses the current situation of domestic and foreign research on barrier free environment and the general situation of the construction of barrier free environment in China. It can be known that the construction of barrier free environment in our country starts later and its construction level is far away from the developed countries.However after several decades of development, our country has achieved a certain level of barrier free construction. The third chapter discusses the development and current situation of the barrier free environment construction in Lanzhou City, and makes a comprehensive investigation and discussion. We can know that its barrier free environment construction has made great progress under the joint efforts of government and society, but the development level is still relatively low. In the fourth chapter, the paper expounds the content of the construction of the barrier free environment in Lanzhou city. The results showed that the level of barrier free environment in Lanzhou city needs to be improved. In the fifth chapter, by means of questionnaire survey and face-to-face interview, the paper carries on the satisfaction analysis on the construction of public buildings, residential buildings, parks and roads in Lanzhou from the public and the main users of the barrier free environment and analyses the urgency of improving all kinds of barrier free facilities based on the public view. The results show that the public and the main users of the barrier free environment show a lower satisfaction for the construction of barrier free environment in Lanzhou City. The sixth chapter summarizes the problems existing in the construction of barrier free environment in Lanzhou City and puts forward the concrete countermeasures and suggestions according to the actual situation of Lanzhou City. The seventh chapter is the conclusion of this paper.It summarizes the content of the above and points out the lack of the research.
