| The protection and application of ancient architecture are the issue of social concern, especially with the increase of demand for cultural tourism industry, the optimization and upgrading of the scenic area of China’s ancient buildings will become the significant measures for future development of tourism and improve the city humanistic care. Barrier-free universal design is the emphasis and difficulty of reconstruction of ancient scenic spot, how to make the ancient scenic spot meet the demands of all the audience, besides, build a harmonious and scenic landscape with local characteristics is an important objective of this dissertation.Based on the development of barrier-free universal space and research status, using methods such as field trips, literature research and behavior analysis, this article advocates the concept of universal design, summarized the reasons of the ancient building environmental barriers, analyze the classification of the tour group as well as different people’s behavior characteristics and psychological experience, research focuses on special vulnerable groups including the elderly, children, people with disabled limbs, visual disabilities or auditory language disorder, finalized a barrier-free general design principle that combine with scientific, people-oriented and sustainable development. In addition, by optimizing the xi ’an city wall barrier-free universal design, summary and finishing study of data from that the combination of the analysis of tourism behavior and psychological characteristic, reclassified planning and layout the general facilities for the whole city wall scenic area. Through the planning design, combining theory with practice, advocating more humanized design method, pay attention to the requirement from vulnerable groups, pursuit of adjustment measures to local conditions and barrier-free facilities generic optimization design with Chinese characteristics. Finally, sum up experience from practice, for renovation of ancient buildings universal space in the future provides a theoretical basis and practical methods. |
