Cold recycling machine is the major equipment which is used in cold in-place recycling construction of damaged asphalt pavement. The wheel speeds of vehicle must be equal when it works. The synchronization of traveling hydraulic system is one of factors that affects the construction quality, but its study is little. Thus the study of the synchronization of traveling hydraulic System for 700 hp cold recycling machine is of great theoretical and application value.On the study basis of the working principle and Synchronization mode about four kinds of traveling hydraulic system, combined with comparative analysis of power losses, synchronization, cost, the research target of this paper which is double pumps and four motors system based on two-stage flow synchronous control technology is raised. The study of parameter matching, check, traction characteristic is completed. The PID controller is used to improve the system dynamic performance. Finally, based on AMESim, this paper built the simulation models, and simulated and calculated the synchronization and power losses in different operating and working conditions.The simulation results indicate the synchronous precision of double pumps and four motors system based on two-stage flow synchronous control technology is less than standard limit value in deviation starting, small deviation construction, medium deviation construction. When the cold recycling machine construct on extreme deviation the synchronous precision is slightly more than standard limit value, but it is better than four pumps and four motors system. It’s power losses is similar to the double pumps and four motors system with synchronous valve,but the synchronization of double pumps and four motors system based on two-stage flow synchronous control technology is improved.
