Study On The Intelligent Monitoring And Traffic Safety Measures Of Highway Long Tunnel

The tunnel is a special section of the highway, and its operation safety affects the operation efficiency of the highway directly. In recent years, the traffic accidents in the tunnel have occurred frequently, the operation management and traffic safety have caused wide concern of the traffic managers, researchers and the public. At present, most of the researches on the traffic safety of highway long tunnels at home and abroad are mainly concentrated in the ventilation, lighting, fire protection, monitoring and accident rescue. There are no comprehensive analysis and system study about intelligent monitoring and traffic safety measures. With the development of information technology, data communication technology, computer technology, sensor technology and electronic control technology, applying the advanced science and technology into the tunnel operation management and traffic safety management is an effective way to improve the level of tunnel traffic service. Based on the analysis of the highway long tunnels environmental characteristics and the cause of the accident, the paper studies the adverse factors of the affection on tunnel traffic safety systematically. Combining the advanced science and technology, the intelligent monitoring and traffic safety measures are studied in depth. All of this works provide technology reference to the operation management and traffic safety of highway long tunnels. The main research work of this dissertation can be summarized as follows:(1) By analyzing the building structure, traffic conditions, environmental conditions and operation management of the highway long tunnel, the overall design scheme of the intelligent monitoring system for tunnel are put forward, and the operation detection and induction control, computer network, closed circuit television surveillance, lighting control, fire alarm, ventilation control subsystem are designed in detail. Then a centralized control method basing on the distributed IO tunnel PLC is proposed.(2) In order to improve the level of traffic safety service on highway tunnel, the two aspects of tunnel design and operation management should be started from, and the specific measures to ensure the safety of highway tunnel traffic safety are studied. On the one hand, it is important to pay attention to the design of traffic engineering, fire prevention, emergency rescue and safety facilities. On the other hand, it is necessary to strengthen the public education, and make thorough traffic regulations, driving methods and dangerous goods management and other operations management measures.(3) Taking the Qinling tunnel of Xishang section of Hushan Expressway as a safe treatment example, the application of intelligent monitoring and traffic safety measures are shown. And the causes of traffic accidents in Qinling tunnel are analyzed, the traffic safety improvement measures are listed. The practical application results indicate that the perfection of the intelligent monitoring system and traffic safety measures can greatly reduce the traffic accidents. The safety of tunnel traffic has achieved some results.
