The Highway Freight Research In Guizhou Province

Since the 12 th Five-year Plan, Guizhou Province has made great achievements in transport construction. A comprehensive transport system has been established by 2015 with 5100 kilometers highway which every county in Guizhou has access to. 2016 marks the beginning of the 13 th Five-year Plan in which the provincial government has proposed clear goals to build a smooth, safety, comfortable and beautiful public transport environment by 2020 with significant improvement in public transport governance capacity to promote the new normal of public transport development featuring quality, efficiency, fairness and sustainability. The highway in Guizhou Province accounted for the entire road transport of goods in an important position, in 2013 the operation of the turnover of the whole society cargo truck Guizhou province is 59.022 billion tonkilometers, while the entire highway cargo turnover of 30.546 billion tons km, accounting for 51.75 %, Therefore, a study on the highway freight transport in Guizhou is necessary to provide insights on the development plan of highway freight transport of Guizhou.This paper processes, compares and analyzes the special survey data of Guizhou public transport, which is the basis, as well as data on highway toll collection and supplementary survey data on freight transport with the assistance of SOL server and Trance CAD. First of all, this paper puts forward methods to process highway data and introduces methods to collect freight transport statistics. Then, this paper analyzes the highway freight transport in Guizhou Province from three perspectives, namely, freight volume index, freight van and freight category. The freight volume index includes traffic volume, freight volume, turnover volume and freight traffic density; the freight van perspective takes into consideration van capacity, running velocity, empty driving, ultralimit and average haul distance; the freight category includes basic information about freight and freight destination. In 2014, the traffic volume reached 30.764 million;the cargo volume reached 151.153 million tons and the turnover reached 30.417 billion tonkilometers; A total of 36 sections, of which 24 road freight density direction, more than 10%; an average of 2 axes trucks cargo volume has decreased, and 3-axis, 4-axis cycles and tractor-train has increased to varying degrees;The truck average speed reached 62.02 km/h; The empty car mainly concentrated in two axis;The empty traveling annual rate have increased; The overrun is still grim; The average haul trucks reached 202.39 km;The goods category mainly in time-sensitive, high-value goods, and communicate closely with surrounding provinces. Last, this paper gives suggestions on the sound development of highway freight transport in Guizhou Province and hopes that Guizhou will optimize lorry structure, strengthen IT construction and ultralimit rectification, improve highway services and adapt to the economic transformation in the future.
