With the rapid development of domestic automobile industry and improvement of living standards as well as consumption level, more and more attention has been paid to the technical improvement of cars in both comfort degree and security. However, the comfort is not good enough of automobile air conditioning, whose control system is time-varying, nonlinear and largely interferential. The control methods based on intelligent control are given more weight.First, this article introduces the working principle of air conditioning. Then it builds the simulation system of car environment on MATLAB. The main heat load is considered and the model is simplified while making this simulation system close to the real situation.Second, based on this simulation platform a fuzzy control system including some important parts is introduced in detail. According to the result of simulation, the temperature in the car can reach to the setting temperature steadily and efficiently. The fuzzy controller can meet the needs of comfortable feeling and energy conservation.Considering the potential deficiency of normal fuzzy controller, an fuzzy adaptive PID controller is presented immediately. The controller takes the three parameters of PID as outputs and can regulate them adaptively. The result of simulation indicates that the system can adjust the parameters adaptively in accordance with changes of inputs. The whole control system has high control precision, fast response and strong robust.Again, a single input multiple output control system based on BP neural network is designed. On account of the difficulty of collecting samples which is used to train the BP neural network, this article proposes a simple method of collecting data via MATLAB. According to the simulation, this method is proved to be effective and the BP neural network control is proved to be more superior.Last, the design of hardware circuit and software is introduced, including some parts of hardware circuit principle diagram and flow chart of software design.
