In recent decades, with the development of science and technology, large span steel truss structure has obtained rapid development and wide range of engineering applications in our country, this not only provides a good opportunity for the accelerated development of large span steel truss structure, but also brings a great challenge, makes a higher request to construction technology. The traditional construction method of steel structure rely on the previous construction experience too much, no longer meet the requirement of quantification、refinement and safety in current steel structure construction. Therefore, in the construction stage, it is very necessary to research the detailing design, construction technology and simulation analysis of steel truss structure, it can solve problems that may occur in the construction process, verify feasibility of the construction plan, ensure safety of the structure in the construction process, so that the project construction can be carried out smoothly.This paper combines with a Passenger Terminal Building steel roof truss structure, it mainly researches the following aspects:(1)Detailed analysis and comparison of the state variable superposition method and the life and death element method in the construction analysis, determine the latter as the main analytical method of this paper.(2) It analyses the problems in traditional detailing design of steel structure and features of BIM, then put forward detailing design of steel structure based on BIM; In view of the main reasons for the wide application of BIM, the process of detailing design management based on BIM is put forward; then put forward the implementation steps of building BIM model and output drawing based on BIM; using a practical engineering, apply BIM technology in the detailing design of large span steel truss.(3) It takes the actual project as engineering background, through analysising and demonstrating several construction methods, finally select the integral lifting method; by analyzing characteristics in the construction of this project, obtain the idea of installation; using BIM technology to simulate integral lifting construction process; researches some key technologies in the assembly stage, such as site assembly, assembly quality control, welding quality control, at the same time integral lifting stage are also studied, such as the formal lifting process control, synchronous measurement control, synchronization control strategy.(4) It takes the finite element software MIDAS to conduct simulation analysis on the integral lifting process of the actual project. According to the analysis results, replace those spatial truss member which are out of standard stress, also optimize the structure design of lifting tool, ensure safety in the construction process of integral lifting, so that the project construction can be carried out smoothly, these calculation and analysis can be used for reference for the safety and reasonable construction of similar large span space truss structures.
