Concrete Arch Bridge of Sunflower Type, whose structure characteristics are novel and lightweight,has a wide applicate prospect.It is a high level of indeterminate number structure which consist of mian arch, spandrel arch, stringers and Tie-bar. Owing to the high level of indeterminate and system transformation on the construction stage,the temperature effects on this bridge is complicate and significant under the stage of construction and completion. There are temperature stresses in the various of structural position,which may induce temperature cracking.as a consequence.Until now there is no research literature relevant of temperature effects on the arch bridge of sunflower type.Therefore,this parer takes Second Fenghuang Bridge as engineering background,to study the the temperature effects on the concrete arch of sunflower type.The Second Fenghuang Bridge in Guangzhou is a multi span concrete arch bridge of sunflower type.This article conduct field measurement of the temperature field and a finite model of second fenghuang bridge about construction stage is built by using the analysis software MIDASC/CIVIL,and the displacement,stress, counter-force of main arch under 3 kinds of modes is calculated.Also,the gradient temperature effects of continuous arch effect is computed and the results show it has minute difference between fixed arch and continuous arch.The overall temperature effect of Second Fenghuang Bridge under completed bridge stage is analyzed to Obtain displacements and stresses of the structure. It is noticed greater temperature stresses in main abdominal arch junction、arch crown 、arch foot are induced by temperature effects.Research results could be as a certain reference to grasp temperature effect ono the same tape arch in the design and construction process.
