Switched Reluctance Motor has many advantages, such as simple structure, low cost,strong fault tolerance, can work stably for a long time in bad environment. At present, more research in Switched reluctance motor speed adjustment process, but for the study of switched reluctance motor power generation process is relatively less.This paper first analyzes the structure and principle of the switched reluctance motor,because electric process and power generation process of switched reluctance motor is symmetrical, on this basis, do further research on the principle of power generation,mathematical model, electromagnetic relationship. Introduces three kinds of commonly used power control method, the mathematical model of switched reluctance generator is deduced,and describes the generation process of two kinds of commonly used excitation circuit. Then,design the simulation model of switched reluctance generator in the Matlab/Simulink simulation environment, the system adopts the voltage, current double closed-loop control,the control strategy using conventional PID, making the generator voltage follows the given.In view of load change, power system voltage also change, puts forward a new compound control method, through adding feedforward compensation the voltage fluctuation for timely,has obtained the good control effect. Due to the conventional PID parameter tuning is time-consuming and laborious, the accuracy is not high, adaptability is poor, when the model parameters change, the corresponding PID parameters also need to change. Thus, presents an advanced control algorithm-fuzzy PID control, developed 49 fuzzy rules, built the switched reluctance motor power generation system simulation model based on fuzzy PI. By simulation,verify the fuzzy PI control has the advantages of high adaptability and anti disturbance than the conventional PI control.Finally, completed based on the DSP control software and hardware design of switched reluctance generator system and part debugging. Power conversion circuit and detection circuit is designed, write the flow chart and the software program, the experiment was carriedout on switched reluctance motor speed control and power generation process, this research has certain reference value to the follow-up study of switched reluctance generator process.
