As a non-conjugate meshing transmission of intermediate flexible parts, chains are featured by compact construction, reliable work, large carrying capacity, higher efficiency and keeping exact average transmission ratio. It has many factors in the process of chain drive,such as the dynamic load caused by the polygon effect, the impact load of meshing, the wear and tear between sprocket wheel and chain, etc. These factors make the chain drive especially conveyor bush-roller chain drive generate severe vibration phenomenon and influence the stability of conveyor chain drive.The creeping phenomenon of conveyor bush-roller chains comes from vibration. Based on the analysis of polygon effect, dynamic and static loads, the friction between chains and guide way, the dynamic model of the conveyor bush-roller chains is built, the differential equation is solved and the conditions which the conveyor bush-roller chains don’t occur creeping phenomenon is obtained. It can reduce the creeping phenomenon of chain transmission system effectually to decrease the different value of dynamic and static friction,enhance the system stiffness and decrease the dynamic load.For the conveyor bush-roller chains, because of the design tolerance, assembly error,abrasion and so on, the clearance always exists in the chains and causes instability of chain transmission system. For a deeper analysis of the relationship between the preloaded force and stability, the contact and impact dynamic model of the pin and sleeve with clearance is built with impact pair model, and the relation of the system vibration and parameters, the system load, the clearance between pin and sleeve is obtained. According to the actual working condition, this text makes a deeply research on the vibration state of the pin and sleeve under the small damping, based on the differential equation is solved and analyzed, the reasons why the conveyor bush-roller chains occur vibration are proved that it relate to the system parameters, the dynamic load and angular frequency, the effective circumference force,the preloaded force and the clearance. Meanwhile, the optimum preloaded force is obtained in corresponding conditions.According to the actual working condition of the conveyor bush-roller chains, based on the Recurdyn software, a dynamic simulation model with multi-contacts is built and the influence of the preloaded force on vibration characteristics of conveyor bush-roller chains with clearance is analyzed. Above research proved that a reasonable preloaded force is an effective mean of weakening vibration. At the same time, it provide the theoretical basis to choose a reasonable preloaded force for the stability of the conveyor bush-roller chain transmission system.Finally, in order to maintain the stability of the conveyor bush-roller chain transmission system, the automatic regulating system of preloaded force is designed to adjust the preload force with automatic and quantitative.
