Due to its strong vitality,the earth construction has a wide distribution and a long history.But in recent years,with the development of social economy,expediting of urbanization,many raw-soil structure buildings are disappearing and replaced by brick structure and frame structure buildings.As a important type of raw-soil structure,the traditional adobe structure has showed disadvantages such as irrationality of design,the lower stability and durability in the development of Raw-soil structure,but it has some advantages,for example,it can make use of local materials,save energy and keep your house warm in the winter and cool in the summer,meanwhile,it is easier and cheaper to construct,help protect environment to make it become a part of nature.On the background of sustainable development,how to improve disadvantages of raw-soil structure to better take ecological effects and make it adapt modern way of living and production,this is the focus of the thesis.The thesis makes a analysis on the actuality of adobe adobe structure,systematically analyses on the masonry materials and mechanical character about adobe wall bearing structure, studies problems and defects on the structure.Basing on these researching result,by using the masonry-structure’s method about design and calculating method,the traditional adobe structure has been improved,after that the masonry structure of raw-soil brick has been put forward.Compared with traditional adobe structure,the structural stability gets enhanced.Compared with common masonry structure,the performance of thermal insulation has been obviously improved.By analyzing the components of wall unit,building method and mechanical property for studying the masonry’s mechanical performance of compression.Basing on these researching result,the thesis proposes some anti-seismic stabilization measures about structural details and arrangement,in order to enhance the structural stability and durability.The thesis makes a study on the adobe masonry’s compressive strength by theoretical analyzing and testing.Firstly,basing on the principle of elastic analysis,the computing model has been established by using theoretical method,H.K.Hilsdorf’s slash formula in envelope curve of brick-masonry’s damage is analyzed, then the quadratic curve of theoretical envelope on adobe-masonry’s damage has been concluded..Secondly,after testing the compression strength of adobe masonry,the loadand displacement can be got,then load-deformation curve can be drew.The test shows,in the adobe masonry,the synergistic action between bricks and mortar is stronger than sintered brick masonry,and the adobe masonry has the characteristic of ductile failure.
